SATHYA SAI BABA'S PROBLEMS WITH FRACTURES OF THE ARM

Below is an excerpt from an e-mail I received from a former Sai devotee, which was sent to her unsolicited by one of the several remaining Sai followers in Norway, an Indian immigrant who propagates her information from alleged 'close friends of Swami' to anyone who may listen. I don't wish to embarass the mailer - and Indian woman living in Oslo - further by giving her full name and e-mail address! It reveals facts otherwise carefully hidden from the public, not least the number of uncured fractures (five!) that Sai Baba has had in the last 3 years.
The Sai authorities see it as crucial to hide all negative facts about Sathya Sai Baba that they possibly can get away with (but often don't), as has been documented very widely on this website and in many other connections.

Swami has problems in moving, has had five fractures in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and only one was cured. Again according to his close friends, this is actually a preparation Swami has started up. It was necessary for Swami in this way Swami has to prepare (mentally) his followers so they will be able to accept it when he leaves this (physical) world, and that is to avoid tragic happenings that can occur in 15 years."  (see full documentation of the e-mail here)

A mailform received by the exbaba.com website also informed of Sai Baba breaking his arm, as follows:-

WHY DID SATHYA SAI BABA NOT RECOVER FROM HIS HIP FRACTURE AS HE PROMISED?

Devotees are
reportedly puzzled by this new injury because Sathya Sai Baba promised at about
Shivarathri that his physical condition would be OK in 2 months (Present Date: 05-08-04)

     It is with mixed
feelings that I am writing this update. Yesterday that is on
Wednesday, there was no darshan at all. As part of "Love my
Uncertainty" this is quite common - so I thought too!

     This is the first time
that I have been into the lawns of Trayee Brindavan and fortunately,
I got a decent seating from where the entrance to Trayee Brindavan
as well as the balcony was very nicely visible.

     After a lot of waiting
it was nearly 9 AM, when the balcony door opened and Swami was found
to be in a wheel chair being brought to the edge of Balcony. Most of
the hearts must have stopped as mine did. Because Swami had some
sort of discomfort and his right arm was in some discomfort. Swami
generally used His left hand only. Anyway, He looked around the
devotees gathered in front of Him and after about 5 minutes or so,
went back into the room and the balcony doors were closed, and many
      thought that was the end.

     Swami also explained
that He had yet another fall resulting out of his own mistake, and
stated that Doctors were not needed for curing this.

News from the Russian Sathya Sai Baba forum
translated into English by Serguei Badaev

	  15. 05.2005
19:05 "I have just got a phone call from the ashram. Swami is in
Whitefield (Bangalore). At recent fall Swami broke his arm and does
not feel well. He did not go out for some time. Now darshans resumed.
Swami is being transported in a special wheelchair so that his body
is almost completely rigid. Despite this, Swami asks everyone to
keep calm. 16th May at 7 a.m. a special puja (Agnihotra) will start
and will last for 3 days. Puja is likely to be for Baba's recovery.
The official aim of the puja has not been announced."
The
official announcement is at starofmysore.com, when not available anymore, we have kept a

copy on our site !
  News comment from ExBaba:-
It is of note that - yet
again - neither the ashram nor the Sathya Sai Organisation made this new awkward fact
	    public until it leaked out
to some devotees and was posted eventually on websites. The same happened when Sai Baba broke his hip last time - there was an official attempt to cover up that and minimise the damage of the news by misleading and even directly absurd statements, also later on by Sai Baba himself. There are many examples of the
shameful secrecy of this increasingly cultish movement... whose God Almighty Incarnate (who
could never have bad health - according to his earlier claims) is
not only crippled, but now has had yet another accident,
	      probably due to chronic osteoarthritis.
We are as calm as can be
here. By the way, what use are pujas, for the last lot of prayers to
cure him of his hip injury and waddling walk failed totally? NO 'miraculous'
effect, perhaps rather to the contrary!
Another incident which was reported in the Indian Press (though kept from the knowledge of members of the Sathya Sai Organisation) - see the Star of Mysore here
