GERALD 'JOE' MORENO OF LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO
and HIS SEX OILING BY SATHYA SAIUnder an untraceable identity, Gerald 'Joe' Moreno began to attack, libel and stalk on the Internet all critics of Sathya Sai Baba, eschewing no opportunity to disortion, contrivance, forgery, image manipulation or other demagogical trickery to 'expose' his chosen enemies. His identity, location and othr details were eventually discovered by some of the offended persons. He subsequently also attacked many other dissidents from guru cult figures like Swami Prmananda, Ammachi, and several others - altogether amounting to many thousands of pages on three web sites and a considerable number of blog sites, as well on numerous other web outlets, bulletin boards, discussion groups etc.
Moreno showed that he obtained much information from both ordinary members and leaders within the Sathya Sai Organization, though he posted disclaimers on most of this Sai Baba web pages denying any connection whatever with the Sathya Sai Organization and even asserted that he was not a follower of Sathya Sai Baba (which claim was entirely false as his defense of every single Sai Baba deception, blunder, false prophesy, fraudulent claim and criminal cover-up, while his adulatory writings about Sai Baba and his experiences with him proclaim.
He immediately posted otherwise unobtainable news about an unpublicised court case in the US concering Sai baba and his organisation directly the ruling was given, which information was privy to the top Sai Baba lawyers on behalf of Sai Baba’s leaders Goldstein, Bozzani, Krystal, etc., and the Rahm family who failed in their attempt to sue Sai Baba from the USA. When Moreno stated (during a few years) that he personally believed (see scan) that Sathya Sai Baba did sexually abuse men, he still defended Sai Baba totally and attacked all those who have testified on his websites and on numerous bulletin boards. This ceased only when he died in June 2010 at the age of 39. His blogs are still extant at wordpress.com and especially on blogspot. He previously strongly defended Sai Baba for some years even while he believed him to be a sexual abuser (See his declaration here). What sort of person would do that other than a very confused or mentally disturbed person? He was actually molested himself, as he describes in a carefully guarded way, though he thought it was a divine blessing! He also proclaimed that he did NOT believe Sathya Sai Baba was the avatar of the age, nor did he believe the claims of omniscience and omnipotence. He made a big deal out of his claim NOT to have been a follower, nor even a member of any Sai group or the Orgaization!
Gerald Moreno represented the only public defense of discredited Sai Baba and Sai Organisation VIPs (until the head of Radio Sai reproduced many of Moreno's arguments in a rambling, untruthful defense six years after a mass of allegations and other proofs came out against Sai Baba). The Sathya Sai Organization dared not acknowledge his connection with some of their top officials, nor endorse him im public, though they refused to censure his most unspiritual and untruthful claims about former long term and most respected members of the organisation whio left after the major exposure of Sai Baba became possible through th Internet. Thus, they robbed themselves all credibility as a spiritual or truth-seeking organization. Early on, Moreno stated that he knew Dr. G. Venkarataman, the head of Radio Sai and the Heart-2-Heart website.
Moreno relentlessly stalked critics of Sathya Sai Baba, e-mailing any contacts or friends he could discover, tracking the exposé peoples' relations, business or academic contacts and others so as to spread his lies in an attempt to cause trouble or ruin reputations. His dirt-digging mails obviously have the contrary effect to what he so badly wants, but not for the more fanatical and conscienceless remaining devotees of Sathya Sai Baba. His use of distorted photos of Sai critics were puerile and a mark of his intense animosity.
