 Gerald 'Joe' Moreno who has done his best to disguise the fact that
he lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, - wrote a self-flattering self-promotional
advertisement for his pro-Sathya Sai Baba web site - which is directed
one-sidedly and exclusively against the critics of Sathya Sai Baba
(using one of his known pseudonyms with a link to his own website)
- as follows: "joe108: Actually, many people simply have not cared to sort through all the muck regarding Sathya Sai Baba and try to find the unbiased truth. This is the best site that gives an honest, sincere and open view regarding Sathya Sai Baba." (Search joe108 on Google to confirm the identification) 'Honest, sincere, open and unbiased' are adjectives that no reasonable person would attribute to Gerald 'Joe' Moreno's web sites and board postings. All who visit them will come across defamatory dirt he promotes to try to blacken some of those with whom he disagrees and relentlessly pursues. He is also an unashamed flamer and user of libel on bulletin boards across the Internet against virtually all of the hundreds of Sai critics, who he always lumps together as 'Anti-Sai' people to make them appear as all of the same opinion on all the issues and are always acting in collusion with each other. This tarring everyone with the same brush and is calculated calumny, as is his calling many of Sai Baba's critics 'liars' [obviously without proof]. Critics include over 100 respected, long-time former devotees who have tried to raise their concerns with the top leadership of the Sathya Sai Organization, without response. The Predominant Internet
spokesman in defense of the Sathya Sai Organization: This public excrescence - the websites of Gerald Moreno - is to be regarded as an outgrowth of the Sathya Sai Organisation in that it is the only pro-Sai and pro-Organisation mouthpiece against critics on the Internet. Gerald Moreno tried to cover his tracks as a firm closet believer in Sathya Sai Baba and stubborn supporter of his organization, whose authoritarian leaders and structures he does not ever question in the slightest, on the contrary. From the start he put a disclaimer on every single web page stating that he is not a devotee and not a member of the Sai Organization. Though he is surely not a formal member, in reality this is patently a pre-emptive smokescreen to try to absolve his frenzied opus which from the start constantly defended both Sai and his organisation more fanatically than any other devotee or member ever has! Recently, he was still protesting to a critic who outed him on this: "Another sad speculation you make is when you call me a SSB devotee. I am not a SSB devotee. I truthfully state that I have had many wonderful and positive experiences with SSB, as I have had with many other spiritual personalities." It is just a matter of mere words and definition, and Moreno has no respect for the states of affairs that many words and definitions represent whenever it so suits him. Of course, Moreno cannot possibly square his repeated defamation and vicious harassments with the teachings of any spiritual teachers he speaks of having had contact with! This denial of association with
the Sathya Sai Organization is part of his cunning but failed strategy
from the outset to work hell bent to defend whatever it stands for and
does. Moreno protested his independence just too much for credibility!
Like devotees everywhere, Moreno knows perfectly well that Sai Baba
has said that the Organization that bears his name is Divine, and is
his chief instrument through which he will save the world. But Moreno
failed to conceal his contact with the Sai Organization hierarchy, whose
pathway connects not least through the Sai devotee attorney Robert M.
Baskin of Ventura, California, who has long been a key legal advisor
to the Sai Organization. On
his home page at vishvarupa.com, Moreno confessed his connection with
Robert since he introduced Moreno to Sai Baba . His writings show how
much he is a willing instrument of the Sai Organization and he has shown
that he is their only outlet for private video depositions which are
unobtainable elsewhere to anyone. The Sai Organization on their behalf
have no quarrel with him, none at all. In fact, in India they are now
linking to his lowlife web site, which proves their complicity with him!
(Take note, other crucial documentary evidence in this matter, attested
by a former inside source, is being withheld here for future use for
eventual use in litigation or by researchers from serious world media). This involvement of Moreno with
the Sathya Sai Organization is further reinforced. In answer to a recent
posting on ExBaba.com questioning the donation of five new, expensive
cars to five 'Sai VIPs', Moreno stated that he has met such 'elevated',
normally unapproachable persons within the Sai hierarchy as Directors
of the Board of the Sathya Sai Central Trust, like Mr. K. Chakravarti
K. Chakravarthi, who is Head of the Prashanthi Nilayam ashram and Secretary
of the Sathya Sai Central Trust and Dr G. Venkataraman, the deputy chairman
of the Prashanti Council and head of the international Radio Sai. Moreno's contact with Robert M. Baskin of California Robert Baskin is a self-serving lawyer who has for decades managed to his own pecuniary advantage the massive funds that have been sent to India by the Sathya Sai Society of the U.S. and who defends it in a legal capacity. He is known to close colleagues never to donate anything himself. (Apropos, at one point it was widely known that he was excluded from the US Organization by Dr. Michael Goldstein, but Sathya Sai Baba forced Goldstein to readmit him. He was reportedly a shabbily dressed, impecunious young man when he first went to Sathya Sai in 1978. Sai Baba showered attention on him, 'manifesting' a silver ring with his image on it. Within hours, Baskin was summarily scrubbed up and looked after as to clothing, housing and other necessities, and allowed rare privileges, such as being able to enter Sai Baba's house. It seems he had had what Sai Baba calls 'Good Chances' to the full! He was later virtually 'forced' by Sathya Sai (i.e. whose word he believed to be Divine Law) into marriage with an older and divorced woman, Diane, in 1978. Diane had been married by Sai Baba himself to Joel Riordan, who turned out very badly, according to Diane in her book. Sai Baba showered attention on Robert Baskin, 'manifesting' a silver ring with his image on it for him. Within hours, Baskin was summarily scrubbed up and looked after as to clothing, housing and other necessities, and allowed rare privileges, such as being able to enter Sai Baba's house. Diane Baskin also details this episode in her book 'Divine Memories of Sathya Sai Baba'. Later, she filed in a California law court for divorce against him, but afterwards withdrew this!) Robert M. Baskin is regarded as a smart lawyer and has done so well for himself that he built a million dollar residence in Ojai some years ago. Moreno was the first to know about the case against the Sathya Sai Society in which Robert M. Baskin was involved, being the Sathya Sai Society's long-standing lawyer. Moreno obtained not only the Court Records in record time, but also the private depositions by the Sathya Sai Society which were never public documents and which remain unavailable from the Clerk of Court. They can only have been provided to Moreno by the lawyers involved! When the accountability of the Sathya Sai Society was questioned on Wikipedia, Moreno responded within hours stating the details of this society's origin etc., which information on otherwise obscure details indicates his close connection with Sai organization leaders. The deposition contains a false defamatory allegation against the mother of Alaya Rahm. We also note here that the 100% biased testimony by Kreydick also confirms that Alaya was paid money by Sathya Sai Baba, as he has claimed was given for him to keep quiet. Kreydick also states that he saw Alaya sit on Sai Baba's lap! Robert M. Baskin was an active proponent of the Sathya sai Society in these matters. As proof of Moreno's close connivance with and acceptance by Sathya Sai Organisation leaders in their cover-up is that his presentation of Alaya Rahm's self-dismissed court case was accepted by the official Sathya Sai Baba web site http://www.saibabaofindia.com/truth_always_triumphs.html , as well as by Radio Sai, which broadcasts to many parts of the world. The 'heart-to-heart' e-mailers connected to the official 'Radio Sai' mail-bombed devotees and even exposé activists with this information. This is endorsement by the official Sai hierarchy of this self-exhibiting, abusive, libellous person who will stop at nothing (see a fragment of the evidence by clicking here, and here, and here). Sathya Sai Organization leaders have descended into the gutter by proxy! They have tried to make a mountain of proof out of a molehill of subjective evidence in a deposition in the Rahm case which was not even heard by the court, because the case was self-dismissed on technical legal grounds of not finding an accountable incorporated organisational body which could be made responsible for Alaya Rahm's having gone to Sai Baba or what happened to him at all. This they present as a victory, doubtless so as further to deceive Sai devotees into not leaving and reducing donations. Here is yet another proof of his working with the Sathya Sai Organisation
in their cover-up of their false propaganda about a meeting in Westminster
Cathedral which never took place. What is perhaps most disgusting about Moreno and his backers is how he fronts a concerted attack on all the sexually abused ex-followers and backing his vilifying 'Saidevotee' companions on Yahoo groups. Constantly and in great volume demonstrating every logical fallacy in the book, this immoral nonentity denies or twists documented facts beyond recognition simply to muddy the issue and sling mud at hundreds of ex-devotees who have learned the truth and spoken out. Moreno, for all his show of presenting a well-nigh encyclopedic collection of facts, presents virtually nothing but vague, sweeping generalizations. He repeatedly falsifies and demeans others' viewpoints and postings, and follows no checkable backup procedure. He studiously avoids - often through dwelling on side issues - all important and documented facts and arguments, instead attacking, harassing and literally stalking those who state them. One trick of his has been to write to a few leading former devotees who, because of the danger of having their words up on the Internet usually within hours and often distorted, have not replied. "Joe" then derides them for not replying to him, stating that this proves they are liars or whatever else he falsely accuses them of. When two (atypically) responded to him nearly as rudely as he invariably ends up being himself, he immediately displayed their replies in yet one more of many attempts to tarnish the good standing of former devotees by association as 'the Anti-Sai group'. Typical demagogy! He likes variously to style his opponents as fascists, anti-Semites, paedophiles, and especially as fundamentalist Christians, when the active exposé members are absolutely none of these things and no evidence exists as such (some are Christian, some agnostics, some Hindus, some Muslims, some New Age interested and so on, but none of the main exposé activists are any kind of 'fundamentalist'. It is Sathya Sai Baba who is the real scripture-bashing fundamentalist! Gerald Moreno has spent many hundreds
of hours trying to demonize and slur to the fullest extent of his stunted
logical and sub-rational abilities, the ex-devotee Sanjay
Dadlani and the webmaster of ExBaba.com, Reinier van der Sandt.

more web pages and board postings on Sai critics like Basava Premanand,
Alaya Rahm and family, Brian Steel, Robert Priddy, Alexandra Nagel,
Barry Pittard, Glen Meloy, Alan Kazlev, the owner of this website and
an extended list of others too. He accuses virtually all who disagree
with him as being liars, but without any proof or evidence, and - as
a double smokescreen - he calls anyone who writes critically
about him a defamer- he whose main business is libel and lies!
Reflections on the Character of cyber-stalker Gerald Moreno: Firstly, his own behavior and denigatory language reflect fully on himself to show what he is. As if to convince himself that his own beliefs about Sathya Sai Baba have validity, Joe attacks with insupportable claims and slurs anything negative that is documented and testified about Sathya Sai Baba. Small minds have small thoughts... and Moreno has them in abundance, vile and vindictive too. Plainly speaking, Moreno shares this with his yet more moronic protégé - the vituperative and venom-fanged Lisa De Witt - who posts under various pseudonyms including 'consciousobjector2000'. She has to her name an unending stream of the crudest libels, contrived lies and utterly senseless accusations on Yahoo groups and other boards relating to Sathya Sai Baba (search Google). Moreno and De Witt support each other in mutual admiration in numerous postings. No level is too base for De Witt to stoop to, as those who search for her postings will discover, and Moreno has publicly stated he will "go as low" as anyone (and he goes to the lowest level)! Is this quite what the "spiritual teachers" he extols advise? Meanwhile, Moreno's type of attention-seeking
behavior - a telling sign of inferiority feelings - is surpassed only
by his patent moral cowardice. He fears to stand forth like a man and
proivide a single controllable detail that he is who he says he is,
while stalking and harassing others who were not afraid to stand forth
for the world, and at great personal cost. . He has failed to present
any qualifications, or admit to any trade or profession, he may have
and refuses time and again to give away any details about himself, such
as phone number or address, unlike the most prominent spokespersons
for organized former devotees. Many readers would easily see that
his evaluative ability and logic are below high school graduation level.
