- Velugoti NIRVANA RAYAPPA [Pedda Rayadu], 15th Raja of
Venkatagiri,
granted
Rajam Estate in 1652 by Sher Muhammed Khan, Nawab of Chicacole, in
whose
honour it was renamed Bebbooly, later corrupted into Bobbili.
The titles of Raja and Bahadur were granted at the same time.
