Murder cover-up accomplice promoted by Prime Minister Vajpayee for the Nobel Peace Prize!
Sathya Sai Baba was involved in a gruesome murder incident in his bedroom apartment in June 1993, which was never cleared up because his followers, ex-PM Narasimha Rao and Home Minister S.B. Chavan quashed the CBI investigation when it began to near a result. Neither this - nor many other substantial sex allegations against him - stopped the Indian Government under A.B. Peace Prize. weapons (Dr. Bhagavantam, deceased) and hobnobbing in friendly fashion
in public with the designer of the latest nuclear delivery missiles - President Kalam
Huge eagerness for top recognition as Nobel Peace Prize Laureate by Sai Baba thwarted
The extreme eagerness of Sathya Sai Baba to obtain international recognition through awards, which have evaded him so thoroughly, was seen when he promoted an ashram visitor as "Alfred Nobel's grandson" (but the person,. Dr. Michael Nobel, is only the great grand nephew). Sai Baba said M. Nobel is involved in awarding the Peace Prize, and hinted heavily that he himself would therefore be awarded it. The Times of India reported (24-11-2001) " Dr Michael Nobel, Head of the Nobel Institution and Director, Worldspace, told the Times of India, the things that Baba has done is simply amazing and this channel will spread his message to the world. He said there would be an explosion of his teachings. "I am confident it will have a lasting impact. Dr Nobel said the channel now offers the reach to take his message to billions in the world."
But billions of the world population remain in blissful ignorance of Sathya Sai Baba and his message today, as can be seen by the virtual total lack of coverage in current serious - or even popular - media [outside India]. Dr. Michael Nobel is evidently a gullible enthusiast basing his enthusiasm on lack of proper research. Nonetheless, Eileen Weed - Divya- a very devoted bhaktha at the time who lived in Prashjanthi Nilayam with Sai baba's sister Venkamma, wrote home in a letter of May 8, 2002:-
"In his speech I remember Mr. Nobel talking of other people in the Nobel Prize Committee that were impressed with Swami, and how they visited both Whitefield and Prasanthi Nilayam hospitals."
Though he is the great grandnephew of Alfred Nobel, neither Michael Nobel has absolutely no say whatever in the Peace Prize award, nor does the Swedish Nobel Committee because the Peace prize is the preserve of the Norwegian Government alone. Alfred Nobel did not trust his countrymen with such a task and ensured that a Peace Prize Committee was to be elected solely by the Norwegian Government and that their word was absolute. Candidates can actually only be nominated by national governments or by Norwegian Professors of Philosophy! The Norwegian Committee have been informed privately about the dark sides of Sathya Sai Baba and his shady involvements, and about the 1 hour Danish documentary 'Seduced' about Sathya Sai Baba's fraudulence and the sex abuse allegations, which was shown three times on prime time on Norwegian National Television (NRK). Sathya Sai Baba has never won any international award as far as is known. He has been more widely accused of sexual abuses in public than any single comparable swami, but the Indian judiciary, being led by devotees of Sai Baba like the former head of the Supreme Court B, successfully rejected court petitions against him. Moreover, he was present to the murder of six of his devotees within his private apartment in June, 1993 and the case has never been cleared up, no court proceedings and quashed CBI investigations! The Nobel Committee was fully apprised of these facts from private sources and this - along with his megalomaniac claims - sinks his candidature in advance of further consideration. The moral standing of anyone who may receive the Peace Prize must, of course, be beyond suspicion and crispy clean. How could the Norwegian Nobel Committee award it to anyone who supports the vastly increasing militarism and nuclear arsenal of the Indian Government? Sathya Sai Baba does so through his patronage during 20 years in his ashram of the ‘father’ of India’s atomic bomb (Dr. Bhagavantam, deceased) and his warm personal and public support with the designer of the latest nuclear delivery missiles – ex-President Abdul Kalam, besides having as his chief propagandist a former atomic physics nuclear industry worker, Dr. G. Venkataraman!
Despite this, Dr. Michael Nobel said that Sai Baba ought to get the
Nobel Prize, which suggestion followers and some Sai officialdom trumpeted to the firmament (living as they do in a closed world of their own). Despite all the billions of
dollars in hand - Sathya Sai Baba has not made a inch of progress in getting
international recognition from any serious institutions. UNESCO has -

Michael Nobel is, of course, not the Head of the Nobel Institution but he was involved with the administration of an appeal body supported by Nobel Peace Prize Laureates to collect funds for peace purposes. This is in no way connected to any Nobel Prize-giving Committee. Dr. Michael Nobel and the organization he promotes received a hard rap over the knuckles as follows:
“…the organizers received a disturbing fax from The Nobel Foundation in Sweden. It advised them that Mr. Nobel had been voted out as head of the Nobel Family Society at a meeting in August of 2006 “mainly because of his unauthorized activities and involvements in the name of the Nobel Family Society.” And it threatened legal action against those involved in creating “The Dr. Michael Nobel Award”, as Mr. Nobel had indicated it was to be named.”

Michael Nobel was actually an executive of a foreign company contracted by the Sathya Sai Organization to set up the ‘Sai Global Harmony’ satellite radio station! In short - he was a paid contractor for the promotion of Sathya Sai Baba. But despite this the world population remain in relatively blissful ignorance of Sathya Sai Baba and his message today, as can be seen by the virtual total lack of coverage in current serious media [outside India].
Has
Sathya Sai Baba any chance of an Asturias Award?
Last year the prominent journals 'Science' and 'Nature' both received prestigious Spanish Prince of Asturias Foundation awards.http://www.fundacionprincipedeasturias.org/ing/index.html Conferred annually since 1981 the awards are intended to acknowledge scientific, technical, cultural, social and humanitarian work carried out internationally by individuals, groups or organisations in the following eight categories: communication and humanities, social sciences, arts, letters, scientific and technical research, international cooperation, concord and sports. Just compare the quality, outreach and depth of research and understanding in these serious and brilliant journals - and in the work of all other such recipients - with that supposed 'eternal knowledge' expounded by Sathya Sai Baba in his monthly journal 'Sanathana Sarathi', which is packed full of his , endlessly repetitive religious mythology and handed-down superstitions packaged as self-promotion for himself as having been the actual hero of those myths - Vishnu, Rama, Krishna! The strongly moralizing rants he calls 'discourses' are a cast-iron guarantee that he cannot and will never enter the running for any respected award in any humanistic, scientific forum.
What an enormous difference in lucidity, factuality, usefulness, openness, intelligence, testability and critical thinking between these works and anything produced or done by Sathya Sai Baba. While I was a follower and before I eventually and with great reluctance became aware of the huge deceits being practiced by him and his inner circle. The former famous journalist and later in house editor of Sai Baba's journal Sanathana Sarathi - V.K. Narasimhan - were aware of the low quality of much of the discourses. The numerous problems posed by Sai Baba's teachings, his self-contradictory words, factual inaccuracy and major blunders, caused V.K. Narasimhan much worry (he had to cover these up by editorial changes and deletions). He kept asking me to write articles to interpret some to reconcile them with one another. Sathya Sai 'service' work and organizations have received no international awards
One must ask why, when Sai Baba boasts that he does 1000 times more than anyone else in the world - and that his followers have saved the world from catastrophe by their works. Presumably all the fanfare is not judged as credible by independent bodies that would otherwise consider it. Instead, awards involving service to mankind were given by the Asturias Foundation to major benefactors and organizations UNICEF and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Altogether, the Asturias awards promote a very different standard of
achievement to that of anything connected with the self-promoted Saviour of Humanity as
the following indicates well enough:-
